Terms
Terms of use
Rungline is educational software at rungline.com. It is not investment advice, tax advice, or a substitute for a CPA, CFP, or attorney. We are not your adviser. Using the site is agreement to these terms. Last updated 11 September 2026.
What we never do
- We never move money, open an account, or act with discretion.
- We name account types (HSA, IRA, 401(k)), never a security, fund, ticker, or allocation.
- We never produce a number from a language model.
How figures are made
Amounts come from the numbers you enter or keep from a statement, plus published IRS limits for the named tax year. Where a rule needs judgment, the plan stops and tells you to speak to a professional instead of guessing. If the inputs are wrong, the plan is wrong.
Your data
Parsing and the plan run in your browser. There is no Rungline account on the core path. Privacy and how we handle your data are the full statement, including that a vault passphrase cannot be recovered.
Business compiler
Self-employed contribution room is a one-time payment for a named tax year, billed through Stripe Checkout without a Rungline account. That year stays unlocked; a later year is a separate payment. It is not a subscription and not tax preparation. Email at Checkout is for the receipt and restore only. Refunds, if any, are handled case by case at support@rungline.com.
No warranty
The software is offered as-is. Tax law and your situation can both change. Check the IRS publication cited on a figure before you act. To the extent the law allows, Rungline is not liable for decisions you make after reading a plan.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, probe it for other people's data, or present Rungline output as licensed advice. We may refuse service.
